In a monumental triumph for Kerala and Indian shooting sports, Varsha Vinod (Vidarsa K. Vinod) captured Two Asian Games Silver Medals — clinching team podiums in both the 50m Rifle 3-Positions Women (1,765 points alongside Ashi Chouksey & Tilottama Sen) and the 10m Air Rifle Women. She further demonstrated world-class mastery by qualifying for the individual 50m 3P Final, finishing 5th in Asia.

About SSF

Our History

The Shooting Sports Foundation, Trivandrum, Kerala was established in 2012 with the vision of developing precision shooting as a mainstream sport in Thiruvananthapuram. Affiliated with NRAI (National Rifle Association of India), SSF has grown to a thriving community of over 150 members.

Our Mission

To identify, nurture and prepare talented shooters at every level — from grassroots school programmes to national federation competitions — with focus on Air Rifle (10m), Air Pistol (10m) and Small Bore Rifle (50m).
